Loudoun Times Mirror Column

In my outreach efforts, I am Co-Director of the Food For Thought Initiative, a local grass roots group advocating for better nutrition awareness.

Thank you Joe Motheral for your nice article in the Loudoun Times Mirror discussing the Food for Thought Initiative’s efforts to promote and educate about:

(1) the tastiness and health benefits of increasing whole, nutrient-dense foods, close to their original form;

(2) limiting processed food; and

(3) reading labels closely, avoiding added sugar and additives. Most of us don’t need to be completely sugar-free but we do need to be aware of sugar consumption.

Enjoy the read!
